Deanna + Jason | Wedding Photography

Deanna and Jas were married yesterday afternoon in Brown's Arm. They chose to keep things simple with a small intimate ceremony, followed by a supper with family. It was perfect! I have known them both for a few years now, so I was honored when they asked me to take a few photos for them after the ceremony.

There is one thing you just can not control on your wedding day...and that's the weather. While it rained for the better part of the day, we did sneak outside for a few poses. It was misty and wet, yet calm and beautiful. Poor Deanna. The only thing keeping her from the cold was a small black shawl and her new husband - I'm sure she didn't mind really :)

Thank you Deanna and Jas for letting me share your special day. I hope it was everything you hoped it would be. Here is a small sneak peek.

This next image is for Donna. See...Magic! *wink*

This post is for Kadon. While photographing Miss Maggie last week, I could tell Kadon wanted in on the action. I'm not sure if it was being in the new studio space or watching Maggie get her picture taken, but he was overflowing with excitement.

When I asked Kadon if he would pose, he was more than willing. Isn't he cute?

Look at those lil' freckles.

This one is a surprise for my sister. Cool huh?

These were taken using a snoot, which restricts the light hitting the subject. What a little poser. lol.

Love ya Pumpkin!

I've been a little preoccupied lately. Due to a software malfunction (like I really needed an excuse), I've been working on a new website design. The need for a new website offered the opportunity for a fresh new look. I'm really excited about it. A new website with a totally revamped look. Can't wait!

In the meantime, I hit the studio for an hour last night.

I have been planning to photograph Maggie, an American Cocker Spaniel, for a while now. Miss Maggie belongs to my sister, Kara. She will be 9 months old next Friday. Having Maggie in the studio gave me the chance to try out the new backdrops.

My adorable nephew and god son, Kadon (named after his parents, Kara & Donnie)
